Samara Michelle's passions for youth and the arts are at the heart of her drive.  
Ms Michelle is the founder and artistic director of Journey Performing Arts Center.
Through Journey, Samara has been able to combine her natural business sense,
artistic training and formal education to achieve success. Surpassing the 5 year
mark, providing quality arts programming in the Metro Atlanta Community,

Samara quickly discovered that her passions and endeavors cost money . Her
mother , a teacher as well, suggested Samara begin writing grants to fund her
project.Without any formal  education in this area , Samara began to win grant
awards for her organization. Her programs have been supported both locally and
nationally.

Ms. Michelle's  awards include Fulton County Arts Council , Wachovia Bank , the
National  Endowment of the Arts and the American Recovery and Reinvestment
Act.  Leading Journey, one of few nonprofit performing arts centers in Atlanta in to
its sixth year, Samara combines her natural business sense, artistic training and
formal education to achieve success and works tirelessly to position Journey as a
premiere resource for Atlanta's artistic youth. Samara stays grounded by
surrounding herself with close friends and family. Samara’s motto is “Live the life
you always wanted.”
